Ive been looking through various sources that says you can recruit linda from the fighters guild, but shes nowhere to be found. Ive used the 3 patches. Is she in a different location?

I believe you need an import file with certain circumstances fulfilled (I have no idea what) to get her to appear right at the beginning. She is a pink-haired woman that will appear directly to the left of the front counter in the Fighter's Guild, and if she isn't there yet, she should appear once you reach Day 7.
