Can't export LPII savefiles to LPIII

Hi

I have a problem exporting LP2 saves to LP3, because according to everybody, a savescreen should pop after you finish the final destiny, right after the scene with Random in the hallway, but in my case, said savescreen does not appear. I have been looking around the web for a solution but apparently this has not happened. What could be the problem?
