Party for Gottwaldeyr

Since going to Gottwaldeyr is a one way ticket with no possible return there(as far as I remember), which party members should I bring for maximum benefit?

I believe this was somewhat fixed in one of the patches. If your game is fully patched, you should be able to safely return there and then return to the world map and still have Floyd's Beacon, by using the teleport mage in the Mage's Guild after defeating Rixian.

As for the party, the only party-specific interaction I know of that gets you something is that you would need Luciana to buy the Universalis Dogma book, which is one of the three books you can translate for that translation quest, but it's extremely expensive, so there's not much of a point in getting it, since you only need to translate one. So other than that, you would just bring your strongest party for the fight with Evander and Orghandi.

I almost forgot about Floyd's Beacon becuase I'm afraid it too will glitch out on me.

Oh, right, I just remembered! You can't go back to the beach after the first time, so that hidden area to the left with the chest containing 4 rare Ancient Sands IS missable!

Bring a LOT of money with you to get 4 Wizzoo rings from the slot machines there.You won't regret it.I believe that 300000PP(aside what you spend with Universalis Dogma) will do.Equip your full party with this and you won't need to rely on Coryool's resistance anymore nor fear Lord of the Dance much.

How do you reach that battle? I'm stuck trying to find out how the battle will begin.

Edit: got it. Had to catch the red haired brat twice before leaving to the beach.
