Grogor in his walk through had mentioned smithing possibilities with the muura gem. Has anyone tried smithing with the muura gem?

Just checked the database and confirmed, there is NO entry for the Muura Gem on the forge screen. That wouldn't really make sense, anyways, since there's only 1 in the whole game, and if you used it to forge something, you wouldn't be able to advance ranks in the Mage Guild OR the Undead Guild! That's also why it's not at all recommended to give it to the Undead Guild!

Special propherties can be:
Two-Handed (2h) - prohibits usage of shield or second weapon.
Area attack (atkall) - hits all enemies on battlefield.
Pre-emptive (preemptive) - attacks with this weapon always be resolved first, regardless of user's speed. Multiple pre-emptive attacks are resolved according to speed.
Double attack (doubleatk) - attack hits enemy twice.
Mana drain (manadrain) - it does not shows in weapon's status bar, but some comparatively powerful weapons slowly eat mp reserves of their user (Such as Mind Killer, Dirai Kulha, Sword of Ages and several others). Ususally it is -1mp per physical attack with one-hitting md weapon or -3 if using double-hiting md weapon, but there are exceptions. There are absolutely no penalties if user's mp hits zero, but spellcasting and/or low-mp characters should be wary about equipping these.

*For armors:

Special propherties can be:
Anti-terrain - prevents damage from hazardous terrain.
Anti-crit - decreases enemy chance to land a critical hit.
Translucid - increases chance that enemy's physical attack will miss user completely.
Half mp - halves mp cost for spells and special attacks.

My Sarah chose acrobatics and my Leanda is thaumaturgist (in case it affects their equipment choices).

Alexandra, Scott and Van Helsing (after latter two join you permanently) were not tested for equipment compatibility.

Sampling tips are incomplete. There are definitely more places to get these items.

These two ores can be easily obtained in unlimited quantities. If recipe allows - use them instead of something else.
Mithril - can be bought from Unknown guild's trader once you hit rank 3.
Xarisman tusk - Drops from ogres at the bottom of Ogre guard. Somewhat uncommon, but given that most of ogres respawn if you enter any side rooms AND they are good for leveling certain slayers you have all reasons to grind them up for a while.

Remember that ores must be combined in exact order! Reversed mixing counts as different recipe.
