How to Patch from LP2 to LP3

If you're using sorgin's file to load into LP3, it's going to have different items in your inventory list than what you had by playing LP1 and LP2, because you're using someone elses game files. If you use your own savefile (TO PATCH INTO LP3) from LP2, then you should see the items in LP3 you obtained in LP1 and LP2 (look for a chest at the inn in LP3).

1. Download Laxius Power 3 and extract the files (USING WINRAR). Explore the folder you extracted the game in. (THE LP3 FOLDER)

2. Double-click on the folder "Laxius Power 3 ~ The Final Terror".
You will see a list of folders, click "Patch LP2 to LP3".

3. From this folder (Patch LP2 to LP3), copy the folder "Faceset" into the main folder
"Laxius Power 3 ~ The Final Terror"
(COPY THE FACESET FOLDER FROM THE "PATCH LP2 TO LP3" FOLDER, TO THE LP3 GENERAL GAME FOLDER)

4. From the same file (Patch LP2 to LP3), copy the file "Map 0723" into your main Laxius Power II folder.
(You must have a folder of LPII already installed if you wish to export your savefile)
(COPY THE MAP IN THE "PATCH LP2 TO LP3" FOLDER TO THE LP2 GAME FOLDER)

5. Now open the game LPII using the last save file BEFORE the lab. Complete the quest for whatever
character you played last (ie click on the final letter for your last character, etc.).
You will be taken to a corridor and the save screen automatically pops up. Press enter to save.
(OPEN UP YOUR LAST SAVEFILE YOU HAVE IN THE LAST DESTINY YOU DID, BEFORE YOUR CHARACTER OPENS UP THE ENVELOPE, THEN HAVE YOUR CHARACTER CLICK ON THE ENVELOPE---THE GAME SHOULD THEN BRING YOU TO RANDOM STANDING IN THE FOYER OF HIS HOUSE, AND HE MUST OPEN THE ENVELOPE HE HAS, THEN THE GAME WILL ALLOW YOU TO SAVE, DO SO AND TAKE NOTE OF WHAT SLOT YOU SAVED IN)

6. Quit the game (ALT+F4 OUT BEFORE THE GAME TAKES YOU TO THE OPTIONAL LAB FEATURE). Go back into the LPII folder and copy the save file you just created (i.e. Save01.lsd)
from the LP2 folder to the "Laxius Power 3 ~ The Final Terror" folder.
(COPY THE SAVEFILE YOU JUST CREATED FROM LP2 TO LP3 GENERAL GAME FOLDER)

7. Open the game (LP3) and load the file (I believe it will show Random by himself, mine did). (LOAD THE SAVE FILE YOU JUST COPIED VS. CHOOSING NEW GAME)

EDIT: Make sure you don't overlevel in LP2 either, or you lose some spells you might otherwise be able to obtain at lower levels in LP3. I think hz8's advice was not to go over level 14 in the LP2 game.

TO COPY AND PASTE USING MOUSE:
LEFT CLICK ON A FILE TO HIGHLIGHT IT, THEN RIGHT CLICK TO BRING UP THE CUT AND PASTE MENU, SCROLL DOWN AND SELECT COPY, THEN CLICK OFF THE HIGHLIGHTED FILE, OR CLICK ON THE WHITE AREA TO DESELECT THE HIGHTLIGHTED FILE, AND THEN GO TO THE FOLDER YOU NEED TO COPY THE FILE TO---THEN RIGHT CLICK ON THE WHITE AREA OF THAT FOLDER, AND BRING UP THE CUT AND PASTE MENU---SCROLL AND SELECT PASTE, THEN CLICK OFF---YOU SHOULD SEE A COPY OF THE FILE NOW IN THE FOLDER YOU WANTED TO COPY IT TO...
