| I believe that Yveen's Kiss is the only item I ever found there. Trusting the man just has the quest end at that. If you choose not to trust the man, he will summon a group of 10 Archmages of the Wind into the room. There will also be some more lone ones on the way out. But these guys are ridiculously fast (their speed is well over 900!), and always cast "Lord of the Dance", which devastates your party. The only thing this seems to affect besides the fights with those guys is the dialogue that the quest giver in the Undead Guild will have. Other than that, I haven't noticed any other difference. | |

| In that case I should trust him, since these mages don't seem to drop anything special and xp is plentiful in other places.
It just seems like "the easy way out" if I just trust him... | |

It just seems like "the easy way out" if I just trust him... I know it's a late response, but my god, the Salse Lance makes mincemeat out of them. They have rather low HP, and the Salse Lance hits all of them, twice, and it's a first-strike weapon, so they never get the chance to hit you! Just gave it a go against them a few minutes ago. I had Sarah equipped with it. | |

| can you tell us the ingredients for salce lance. i don't have it in my notes!
nevermind . just found it .it's Cryzalis + Brosaline Petals . next time i'm going to kill these guys.they gave me bad headaches trying killing them and i couldn't. thanks for the tip. | |
