LP3 Addon Question

I already read all the explanations/documents about all addons and I saw that in one of the patches(the second one)the function Change Party Leader was implemented yet was still in beta.Since I don't want to ruin my game,I'll ask:Do Change Party Leader REALLY works/is working?And if it does,there are any bugs/glitches/problems I should be aware of?I saw that using it "causes problems in the books" and a few other things.If it works,I'll use to make sure Random doesn't learn Giga Flare or any other spell unnecessary to him.If it doesn't work properly yet was still implemented,I'll either avoid or test it with another save.

I honestly don't think it's worth it. But if you really have to, I guess it may be safe. But I can't give you a certain answer here.

Thanks for the honesty.I am STILL stuck on LP1--'so I won't pop in LP3 before X-mas Lol but I will test this function with another save in specific places(Pit of Fire,actually).Since Queen of Luban-Erya is a LOVELY foe,I'll leave for end-game my beta testing then.
